Art Lab worked with Jestico & Whiles and the designer Mary Fox Linton to source works of art that could be featured within the public areas and bedrooms of the hotel.

A focus was the creation an overall impression with the art works being set off by the understated, cool interior. Among the highlights of the hotel collection are a series of three cartoons and works on paper by Nick Malone, monochrome prints by Norma Silverton in the bedrooms and an original painting by William Dick in the Indigo Restaurant.

The sculptural element included two important pieces by the sculptor Andre Wallace (illustrated). These were sited in the lobby of the hotel and at the foot of the stairs leading to the Axis Restaurant.
