ArtLab artist Andy Harper will be showing his recent works at a solo show at the NEXT art fair in Chicago from 24 to 27 April. A new exhibition of emerging art to which specific galleries have been invited to take part, NEXT complements the Art Chicago offering focused curatorial vision of the most cutting-edge contemporary artists and arts organisations in the world.

Andy will present his works from a period from 2007 to 2008 including the works from his exhibition titled ‘The Ballad of Mistah Bones’ held in London last summer (illustrated one of the works: Diaphonaous Curtain). In his recent canvases Andy explores the subject of nature, environmental future, and notion of the ‘Other.’

Simultaneously Andy will have his works presented on group exhibition ‘Curious Nature’ in Newlyn Art Gallery, Cornwall, which opens on 26 April 2008.
